Shout out to our pal Rocco!

Indy and I have seriously neglected an important friend from our posts up to now. Our good bud Rocco. Hes got big teeth and sounds like he is tearing us apart when he comes over to play (which I am sure the neighbors are wondering what in the world is going on over there!) and has a bit of the 'only child' syndrome with not sharing his toys...but deep down we know he loves us. Plus mom and dad love him, because when he finally goes home, we just pass out and Indy doesn't have the energy to try and steal socks or eat the kitchen table.

Hes actually SO cool, that he was recently featured on one of the famous Duff (Ace of Cakes) cakes from Charm City Cakes, http://charmcitycakes.com/, when his owners got married this month. He is a little camera shy, so this is the only photo we actually have of him..I will make sure to put up more later.

Dog days of Summer

Indy and I have our parents in a pretty good routine. We get up and get to go potty and have some breakfast and then we get to run around the yard

and play fight

and get treats for good recall

and then just look cute

Then we usually get to go to work with mom and dad. Indy went with mom today, he was working hard.

its a hard life.

Where did our names come from?

Well, our parents are big fans of true authentic action movie bada$$es. So to pay tribute to one of the most decorated and accomplished bada$$ movie icons ever, the first one of us was named Honey Ryder, after the Bond girl in the first James Bond movie, Dr. No. The part was played by one of the most noteable sultry leading ladies of the day, Ursela Andress.
As for the name Indy, well, view this:

Need I explain further?

Our first post....

Hi, Ryder and Indy here. Our buddy Oyster just threw up a blog and, not to be outdone, we responded with one of our own. We'll upload fun photos and provide some insights from our dog minds from time to time. Thanks for stopping by.

Today we woke up and ran and ran and ran around the yard.
Then we slept most of the day, except for lunch.
Then we went on a hike on some trails and we ran and ran and ran past sunset into the dusk. It ruled.
