Houdini Dog

So mom and Ryder went out one day for about an hour and when mom came home she stopped dead in her tracks and looked very confused...and then started hysterically laughing? What...? I don't get whats so funny.

(For those of you who aren't getting it...the tray is the bottom of my crate that I lay on..but don't think I'm going to tell you the secret to my trick!)

War Eagle!

So althought this was a bad season for us and we lost our coach on top of it all (which I think stinks!)...I still love my team.

Indy's light eyes

What a handsome boy I am....look into my eyes. They're a lighter shade than most ridgebacks, almost golden colored.

Ryder graduates!

So mom has been taking me to agility class for the last 7 weeks and it has been pretty fun, although I am a bit of a scaredy-cat and wouldn't do certain things at first. I DEFINITELY wasn't going into that scary red dark wrinkly tunnel!!!

But, after awhile, it started not to seem so bad. So after mom and my coach, Beth, both crawled halfway into the tunnel and had some really good yummy treats, I decided to give it a try.
HOW EASY! I really don't know why mom was so excited..it only took me 7 weeks to even attempt it, whats the big deal?

Don't I look like a pro?

Look..I'll even do it again. Whatever I need to do for some yummy liver. Lets see you try and look this good Indy boy!

I'm such a rock star!

BREAKING NEWS!!!

Indiana Jones is the tallest dog!

Indiana Jones, the Rhodesian Ridgeback puppy of about 8 1/2 months, is now the tallest dog, sources say. Standing approximately 28 1/2 inches to the top of his back, and 35 inches to the top of his head when standing straight, the handsome "Indy" now finds himself the tallest dog in the house, and among most of his playmates.
"I enjoyed it while it lasted" said playmate Rocco Vachino, a German Shepard. "I knew he was gonna be taller than me sooner or later. I just hope he doesn't get me back for all those times I chewed on his whole head"
Indy still has along way to grow, so he will end up pretty big, but he hopes to be known as a gentle giant, not a goliath.

We spend our late Autumn evenings laying around the house, usually in the den where there's carpet and dog beds. Ryder is just so soft and cuddly that she always makes a good pillow.

Lately it has been getting extra chilly, so we toss and turn and groan until mom or dad puts a blanket over us, then we snuggle up for a serious nap.
